perro: is 'pear oar' the one?
About perro (dog)

the perro image is a dog paddling a pear with an oar. I keep thinking 'pear row' (a row of pears) might work better? which one sticks for you -

pear oar. the dog actually doing something is way easier to remember than a row of pears2 found it helpful -

i keep thinking perro. like the dog in the image. but i still say pear-o. the tt in butter sound. i forget the word for it. is that it?2 found it helpful -

Yeah, that tt in butter thing? That's the single r. For perro, you'd need the double r, so a rolled r. No pear-o, more like perrr-o. Tough one to picture.4 found it helpful -

Sí, it is a tricky one. With a single r, like the tt in American "butter," a sound-alike for pero, "but," could be "pear-o." For perro, you have that double r, which means a rolled r sound.1 found it helpful
